Tampa Bay Lightning winger Corey Perry finished his chance to win the Stanley Cup title on Sunday night when the team lost to Colorado Avalanche 2-1 Game 6 to enter the unfortunate territory.

Perry played in the Stanley Cup three times in a row. He competed in the Dallas Stars in 2020 and the Montreal Canadiens in 2021. In both cases he was on a team that lost to Lightning. This time he helped Tampa Bay return to the finals for the third consecutive title.

Perry provided Lightning with a solid play throughout the 2021-222 season. He played in all 82 games in Tampa Bay, scoring 19 goals and 21 assists. Perry’s 19 goals were the highest scored ducks in 2016-17.
